I'm piggybacking the re-release of Seven Days To Save The World And Other homework Projects onto the release of Dragon Soup because both novels are equally whimsical and suitable for all ages (unlike much of my other fiction). But what is it about?
Well, I made a trailer to give you a glimpse.
We reached the first stretch goal! So I'll announce the next one. I was going to do that yesterday, but for some reason, my technology refused to communicate with each other and I couldn't get the photos to synch to my computer.
So here they are:
Colouring pages!
While on the subject of soup, this is the soup season in Australia. Let me share a pretty good recipe for pumpkin soup (I understand some parts of the world will have to deal with an excess in pumpkins next month):
1 butternut pumpkin or similar
1 onion
4-5 celery sticks (you can also use the leaves)
3-4 cloves of garlic
3 stock cubes (to taste)
a pinch of pepper
Cut vegetables in chunks, cover with water in a large pan and cook until soft. Add stock cubes and pepper. Put through a blender. Done!
This is really nice with a dollop of sour cream or yoghurt and served with garlic bread.
The target has been reached, so this project is actually happening.

Yes, as you can tell, I'm really enjoying the multimedia stuff. In future stretch goals (which ALL backers will get), I have colouring pages, more dragon images and I might even record myself playing a medieval dance tune.
